Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay in downtown Geneva, I found the hotel's successful blend of traditional and modern elements quite intriguing. The safety features at the property, such as the fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and security system, reassured me of a secure stay. Although the private parking cost a bit extra at CHF 32 per day, it was worth the peace of mind knowing my vehicle was safe.Walking distance from the picturesque lake was a definite highlight, offering a serene escape from the urban hustle. The 24-hour reception with safe service was convenient, although the staff's lack of acknowledgment felt somewhat off-putting.The room's mixture of period tiles in the bathroom and modern amenities like a separate toilet added a unique touch. While the establishment could benefit from some updates, particularly in the shower area and reception, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room were commendable. In conclusion, my stay provided a comfortable base for exploring Geneva, despite a few minor quirks. Would recommend for those seeking a central location with a mix of traditional charm and modern convenience.
